Lanier Nail
Executive Director
In 2019, Lanier Nail, his wife Kari, and their three children (Laynie, Hallie, and Isaac) moved to the Shoals, where he became pastor of Shoals Anglican Mission. As a bi-vocational pastor, he was looking and praying for a way to be better connected to the community he was called to serve. In 2023, those prayers were answered when Lanier accepted the position as the first paid director of the Help Center. Since then, he has striven to increase the Help Center’s outreach to the community and to strengthen relationships with its supporting churches. When the opportunity arose for the Help Center to “shelter the Shelter”, he was happy to help make that happen and to serve on the Shoals Shelter Committee.
Lanier is a graduate of the University of Alabama (B.S) and Beeson Divinity School (M.Div.) at Samford University.
